Asphalt Penetration Tester

It is primarily used for determining the penetration resistance of viscous petroleum asphalt, viscous shale asphalt, and liquid petroleum asphalt, as well as the residue of asphalt materials after distillation or emulsification. This instrument measures the penetration depth of a standard needle with added weight vertically penetrating into the test sample at a specified time and temperature. The penetration test time can be set, and a 200g weight accessory can be optionally equipped to meet various needs. Additionally, a low-temperature water bath can be optionally equipped to enable penetration tests at different temperatures. The newly designed hardware system, when paired with an external computer or PC software, allows for real-time uploading of test data. This instrument can also be customized with relevant accessories and test accessory kits to measure the penetration and cone penetration of other non-metallic fluid materials (such as paraffin and grease).
